Interesting new take on Superman with great dialog. My only complaint is there is a part in the story that is very confusing. The art looks kinda Mad Magazine style. But I liked it overall. I will continue this title.
Good start to an interesting take on young superman.
I have nothing against Superman or Grant Morrison, but I guess this book just isn't for me. I was confused by the plot, didn't care for Morales' art, and just have no interest in seeing where this story goes.

This is one of my favorite to emerge from the New 52. The art and writing were both top notch. My only complaint is the title of the book. Wish it would have been called Jonah Hex: Gotham or something like that.
Sherlock Holmes meets the old west by way of an Illuminati story. Amazing art and writing. Great start to the series.
Sherlock Holmes feel in old Gotham. Great Art! Loved it!
I love how the history of Gotham City is taking on such an important role in the bat-verse. This gives us even another taste of it, and putting Jonah Hex in the big city was fun. And it's always nice to read a book drawn by Moritat.

This book seems to pick right up where Jaimie Delano's brilliant Animal Man run left off. Considering how much I loved that series I am more than exstatic for this book that won me over on every level. Pick this book up!
Didn't really grab me until the nightmare sequence at the end. Great art and interesting story. Good issue.
A complete surprise. Loved it!
Travel Foreman's art is atypical for a superhero book, and that's a good thing. He's showing us something new. I like the emphasis on Animal Man's home life and like Swamp Thing, this book is totally creepy. A good pairing with Swamp Thing.

I loved the new approach of a blogger interviewing Aquaman to explain to readers what Aquaman is all about rather than showing it. The art was top notch and I just added Aquaman to my pull list, (something I never thought I would ever do).
My most anticipated new series did not let me down. Fantastic story and amazing art. Super excited for this title.
Woah! Fishman is a bad ass?!?! Love it!"
Aquaman has become a punchline, and this book takes that head-on, and it works. I'm a huge fan of Ivan Reis's art, which doesn't break new ground but is simply modern superhero art done very, very well, and the colors by Rod Reis make the art really sing.

This was fantastic! Scott Snyder can do no wrong and he continues to impress me with anything he writes. Greg Capullo is a solid artist but really doesn't fit Snyder's style. I wish they would have kept the art team Snyder worked with on Detective Comics.
Another great script from Snyder. Intelligent interpretation of Batman and his gallery of characters. Capullo's art is good but IMO doesn't quite fit the tone of the book. Actual detective comic!
Love the story. Art is great, just not the right fit for the book
Top notch. Snyder introduces some great new Bat-tech, and it's fun to see Dick, Tim, and Damian all interacting with each other. Unlike the others, I didn't have a problem with the art, but I do miss Jock and Francisco Francavilla bringing Snyder's writing to life.

My favorite of the second wave of DC titles. Brutal, dark, and intriguing. Really loved the story and the art. Excited for this title.
Dark and gritty in Africa. This is the Batman comic for me.
There wasn't anything that bothered me about this book, but it just isn't for me and I forgot everything right after I put it down. Based on this mixed reviews here, you better pick it up and judge for yourself.

The art blew me away on this series. Easily the best art of all New 52 books. The writing is also good. Glad to see this title get another chance after Rucka left.
Incredible art and good story. Apprehensive about delays or it would have got 5 fists.
As usual J.H.'s art is spectacular, the story was good. I just hope it comes out on time.
I'd forgotten how unique and amazing JH Williams III's art is. Truly amazing. This book was creepy and I'm so intrigued by this supernatural villain that Batwoman is up against. Also, Rene Montoya is dead in the new universe?!?!?

The worst of the lot for me. Crappy derivative cliches but with turned up brainless sex and violence. Feels like awful perverted fan art come to life. Pandering bullshit.
Black Widow vibe, but the book just falls short.
Not what I was hoping. March's art is outrageously sexy, which I guess is fine but also feels so puerile. I dunno, I wanted this to be more "fun" and sly, instead of just outright cheesecake.
